Central Washington University geology professor Charlie Rubin discusses his neotectonics research in Sumatra following the tragic 2004 tsunami that killed more than 700,000 people. In addition, Charlie describes his field work in the wake of the powerful 2002 Denali Fault earthquake. Also, Charlie gives a peek into his life as an instructor of a two-week field course taught each fall near Bishop, California. Taped on October 28, 2005.
