Central Washington University geology professor Chris Mattinson talks about his ongoing research in western China. Ultra-high pressure metamorphic rocks have been mapped and collected for lab study. Chris and his students have ultimately been helping to determine uplift rates on the Tibetan plateau. Taped on May 29, 2009.
