Show 7: Karl Lillquist & Marty Kaatz

CWU Geographers Karl Lillquist and Marty Kaatz visit with tales of field work in central Washington. The 1998 Yakima Canyon debris flows, the 1970 Thorp landslide, and the 2002 Teanaway debris flows are discussed. Karl covers his involvement with CWU mammoth excavations in the Yakima Valley. Marty comments on changes at CWU over the last 50 years. Taped on July 25, 2006.
