Brad Pitcher receives NAGT-USGS Internship for Summer 2012
Congratulations to Brad Pitcher who received a summer 2012 NAGT-USGS Internship. He will work with Dr. Jake Lowenstern at the USGS in Menlo Park, CA and in the field at Yellowstone. Brad will work on a research project entitled "Quantifying Past and Present Output of Magmatic Volatiles at the Yellowstone Volcanic System."
The National Association of Geoscience Teachers and the US Geological Survey started the NAGT-USGS Cooperative Summer Field Training Program in 1965 and more than 1500 students have participated.
