Introduction to Field Methods

Travel

We camp on the first night and last night of the course at Goose Lake State Park (OR/CA line). We will need a few of our folks to bring tents in case of bad weather.

You will be buying your own food for these two nights. In fact, you will need to bring enough money to keep yourself alive during our travels between Ellensburg and Bishop.

Summer Geology Review

Over the summer, we suggest that you review the chapters that cover Igneous Rocks, Volcanism, Sedimentary Rocks, & Structural Geology. Any introductory geology text will work. You might even want to bring your book with you to the WMRS.
