Alex's research
I am an invertebrate paleontologist specializing in the fossil record of the asterozoan echinoderms (starfish and brittlestars), and particularly the ophiuroids (brittlestars). My research combines modern methods of phylogenetic analysis, paleoecology, and systematics with field and laboratory techniques and the intensive use of museum collections.
