Will Strand (BA Geology, 1999; MS Geology, 2002)

After years of cleaning up other people's messes, I took a position with a fruit company called Zirkle Fruit Company, based in Selah. Managing the company's compliance, I get to work with many areas of the business. While I don't get to carry a rock hammer, I'm still able to get my boots dirty in orchards. I'm still living outside of Yakima, and our kids haven't stopped growing. Much of our free time now is spent chasing them around at sporting events or school functions. I still find some time to run and hunt outside, and am eyeballing those fish pretty hard (but they don't seem too nervous).
