April Peplow Wiebenga (BS Environmental Geology, 2010)

I work for an environmental consulting company out of North Bend - and I'm convinced it's the best job on earth. Consulting is like this perfect blend of geology, chemistry, business, and law. The company I work for is small, so everyone has the opportunity (and the responsibility) to do everything: writing reports, research, fieldwork, whatever. So I'm constantly learning and always challenged. An added bonus is that the working environment is really chill...and everyone brings their dog to work.

I was recently promoted to a project manager position - I'm so pumped about it, absolutely blessed. I wanted to share my exciting news with you guys :) I'm so grateful to the entire geology department at Central and think about you all often.
