Garrett Scheuerman (BS Environmental Geology, 2011)

I started working at Environmental Associates, Inc. in February of 2014. My company specializes in evaluating properties for potential environmental contamination of the soil and/or groundwater. In the short time I have been here I have learned an incredible amount about how geology is actively applied in urban settings. I'm also certified as an asbestos building inspector and am looking forward to learning more in this field and acquiring additional certifications in the near future.

I hope this gives potential geology grads an idea that their degree can be put to use in just about any area and they don't have to be a petroleum geologist in the middle of nowhere to make a career out of their degree!
