Lexie Adams Lett (BS Geology, 2012)

For me, the crowning glory of 2012 was my graduation from college with a B.S. in Geology. Going back to school was truly one of the best, and most challenging, experiences of my life. Now that I am finished, I find I miss the mental stimulation (yes, even the math) of my classes. I also miss my fellow classmates and amazing professors.

Most everyone has scattered across the globe in his or her new careers, and I am a little embarrassed to admit that I am the only one still unemployed. Honestly, I have really enjoyed being home, and cooking, gardening, and entertaining again, so I haven't been trying very hard. But now I am getting bored, so I am going to have to find some creative ways to overcome my age and "lack of recent and relevant work experience" to get potential employers to call me in for an interview.
