Isabel Hong (MS Geology, 2014)
PhD Candidate in New Brunswick, New Jersey
I am getting my PhD in Oceanography at Rutgers University. I study coastal stratigraphy to better understand relative sea-level change caused by earthquakes, tsunamis, and tropical cyclones. My work takes me all over the world, but my favorite study area is along the Washington coast studying the Cascadia subduction zone.
I wouldn't be where I am without CWU and hope to be back to the PNW as soon as possible!
