Brittany Fagin (BS Geology, 2012; MS Geology, 2015)

As of January 2022, I am a Geologist with Arcadis in the Environmental Remediation division out of the Indianapolis office. The work is very rewarding as I am directly helping remediate the environmental issues that impact people's lives. Vapor intrusion, soil gas, and groundwater sampling are all big aspects of my role right now. In the future, I hope to gain experiences with geologic modeling and building relationships with our clients.

All of the career paths I've taken up until now have allowed me to grow in ways I never imagined. As a grad student at CWU, I learned how to think and write critically, as well as anaylze data. As a park ranger, I learned how to engage an audience. As a gold mine geologist, I learned how to perform field work in extreme conditions. This level of variety has served me well.
