Nate Dorfner (BS Geology, 2017)

I have been working as a geologist at a geotechnical firm in Fife, WA since August 2017. We manage a variety of projects including construction monitoring, retaining wall design, and geologic hazard assessments throughout the Pacific Northwest. I work primarily in the Tacoma, WA area alongside fellow geologists and engineers every day.

I had a great time while at CWU. The geology program set me on the right path for a career in geotechnical science.
