Suzanne Blakeney (BS Geology, 1999)

I'm preparing to leave E'burg for a year of travel, perhaps entirely in the area of Australia as I have a year's visa there. I intend to visit New Zealand and hope to get to Europe as well, but my plans are open and fluid. I'll be on Facebook and will post updates and photos.

My work of late has been strictly massage therapy and energy work; I've found it far more satisfying than my years working with water rights for the Department of Ecology, still my feet are itchy for world travel, and so I go!

The years I spent in the geology department were great. I learned so much and made some great friendships. I hope to learn more about geology as I travel and experience the geologic formations around the world.
