Talvin Wilmes (BA Geology, 2012)

After graduation in 2012, I went right to work! I am currently working at H.D. Fowler Co. in Olympia. It's not geology related, but it is keeping me busy in the mean time. I have been applying around and even had an interview with the City of Lacey Police Department (also not geology related).

When I am not working, I am wrangling my 15 month old son, Mica (geology related) with my fiance, Kristin. Kristin and I met at the Oregon State/Central Washington field camp in Mitchell, Oregon.

We plan on getting married in August of 2014 (save the date) at the Pine Marten Lodge at the top of Mt. Bachelor near Bend, Oregon! We don't have a ring just yet, but I plan on having it custom made out of a jadeite and garnets (geology related)
