Samuel Smith (BS in Environmental Geology, 2016)

After graduating in June I relocated back my home town of Mount Vernon and began searching for work related to my degree in Environmental Geology.

While I am still looking for work, I am currently pursuing a technical degree in surveying at Bellingham Technical College and plan on enrolling as a post-baccalaureate at Western Washington University to complete my GIS certificate next year.

The Environmental Geology program created by Dr. Ely and Dr. Gazis is both rigorous and well rounded. I would highly recommend to anyone who wishes to pursue an interdisciplinary earth science degree.
