Sheila Marks Parks (BA Geology, 1983)

I graduated in 1983 - the only graduate without a moustache that year to graduate in geology! I was the vice president of the Geology Club.

Currently, I live in Gig Harbor with my husband John Parks and my 10 year-old son Daniel Parks.

I had Dr. Bentley and survived to talk about it! He refused to call me Sheila - always Shelly. We mapped a portion of the big Marias near Blythe, CA and out in Burns, OR on the lahars. I loved Dr Ringe, and also TA'd the labs for Dr. Farkas.
