Brian Querry (BS Geology, 2014)

Geoscientist in Bothell, Washington

I graduated from Central Washington University with a BS in Geology in 2014. After a year working at Puget Sound Energy (PSE), I went on to attend graduate school at East Carolina University graduating with an MS in Geology in 2018. I currently work at Oceaneering International as a Geoscientist in the special projects division processing and collecting side-scan, multi-beam, single-beam, and sub-bottom geophysical data. I travel approximately 50% of the time and we have projects in the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, Mediterranean Sea, and Arabian Sea.

It is at CWU that my life began to transform. I grew as a person and learnt the value of hard work and perseverance. These traits served me well through graduate school and helped me achieve my goals. Without the the guidance of the professors at CWU, I would not have accomplished my goals while at CWU and beyond. I thank the faculty for and fellow students I attended with for their support along the way.
