Andrew McConkey (BS in Geology, 2011)

Surveyor in Bremerton, Washington

After graduating from CWU in December of 2011, I went to work for a very small consulting firm as a field technician in the Okanogan Highlands where I discovered my passion for botany and treed my first black bear cub.

Currently, I am working in surveying for AES Consultants in Kitsap County. This work involves constructing topographic maps, data collection for monitoring wells and assisting with various engineering projects. Looking forward to continuing my education and spending more time outdoors with my hammer.

I miss "The Burg" and all of the departments wonderful professors. I do not miss the wind.
