Miryha Gould Runnerstrom (BS Geology, 2001)
Associate Professor in Irvine, California
I am an Associate Professor of Teaching in the Program in Public Health at the University of California, Irvine. I teach courses on topics including environmental quality and health, climate change and disaster management, and public health and wellness.
My love of teaching started in my CWU Geology classes taught by Nick Zentner and Steve Lundblad, who, as you probably already know, are both fantastic teachers. When I'm not on campus, I like to spend time kayaking, hiking, practicing yoga, knitting, and reading.
