Hillary Tahtinen Goodner (MS Geology, 2015)

I am currently a temporary full-time Geology/Science Instructor for Yakima Valley College where I teach a variety of classes ranging from physical geology to astronomy, to even a basic chemistry course. I enjoy my position where I get to work with small classes of students and relate educational topics to the world around us.

I have fond memories of my time at CWU where I truly learned about research, earthquakes, and how to relay information to the public. I am thankful for all of my mentors while a Teaching Assistant at Central, for if not for them, I would never have realized my passion of teaching.
