Frances Griswold (MS Geology, 2015)

I am currently a contracting geologist at the USGS Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center in Santa Cruz, CA. We are looking at paleotsunami events in Hawaii in order to determine if the state needs to consider reassessing their tsunami evacuation maps to account for a more extreme fairfield event.

I am looking to start a PhD in the fall, though I'm not sure where exactly that will be just yet. When I find out I can send another little update.

I hope everything is going well back at CWU and that everyone is settled into the new building!
