Sarah Olden receives 2017 NAGT Scholarship
for Field Study

Congratulations to Sarah Olden, who was awarded a 2017 NAGT Scholarship for Field Study.

Sarah was one of 18 students from across the country who received this scholarship for 2017. The scholarship provides $750 towards the cost of a field course and is awarded to those whose field experience is important to their educational and career goals. Recipients of this award from our department in the past include Jenna Adams (2015) and Jacob Calvin (2011).

The National Association of Geoscience Teachers awards Field Study Scholarships "to support students' participation in intensive field courses in any aspect of geoscience".
