On-going research at Mt. Saint Helens by CWU Geological Sciences alumna Angie Diefenbach is featured this month in the CWU news in conjuction with the 40th anniversary of the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption. Angie Diefenbach graduated from CWU in 2004 majoring in geology and has since been working for the Volcano Disaster Assistance Program, which is a partnership between the USGS and the Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance.
