This website provides identification and background notes about the boulders around Discovery Hall on the campus of Central Washington University. The boulders were selected to encompass a range of Washington State geology. They are available for viewing and study by the general public, and also used as instructional tools in CWU Geological Sciences classes.
The materials for these pages were researched and written by graduate students in the GEOL 502 class of the Geological Sciences program, with the guidance of instructors Dr. Lisa Ely and Dr. Chris Mattinson. The interactive map was developed by Lindsay Henning, Jana MacInnis, and Craig Scrivner.
